User Registration and Profiles
For users that register on our website (such as companies posting jobs or candidates creating profiles), we store the personal information provided in their user profile (e.g., names, email addresses, and job listings).
- Access: All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username).
- Administration: Website administrators can also see and edit that information to support account management.
Media and Job Assets
If you upload images to the website (such as company logos or profile photos), you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can potentially download and extract location data from images on the website.
Cookies
We use cookies to ensure our website functions correctly and to analyze traffic.
- Login Cookies: If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser. When you log in, we will set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. For users that register on our website, we store their personal information indefinitely to maintain their account and job listings. You may request the deletion of your account at any time. Analytics data associated with cookies is retained according to the default retention periods set by Google Analytics (typically 26 months, or as configured).

If you have an account on this site, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

8. Company Job Alerts and Profile Claims
Company Job Alerts
When you request a company job alert, we collect your email address and the company you chose. We send a confirmation link before activating the alert, then email you when a new job from that company is listed on Blockchain Jobs Board. MailerLite stores confirmed subscribers in a separate company-alert group. MailerSend delivers confirmation and alert emails. Your company choices are stored by Blockchain Jobs Board. Signing up for a company alert does not add you to the general newsletter.
Each alert email includes a link to stop alerts for that company. If you stop your last company alert, we remove you from the MailerLite company-alert group. Unconfirmed requests expire after seven days. You can request access to or deletion of your alert data using the contact details in section 7.
Company Profile Claims
When you request to claim a company profile, we collect your name, work email, company name, and any role or message you provide. We email your request to hello@blockchainjobsboard.com through our authenticated website mail connection. We use this information to review your connection to the company and respond. A claim request does not grant access to edit the profile.
